| Spiritual seers of Celtic mythology were endowed with the gifts
of prophecy, wisdom, and healing. They enjoyed a rapport with supernatural forces and were intermediaries between the
tangible world of man and the invisible realms. In Arthurian tradition, such an otherworldy realm was known as the Isle of Avalon. It was inhabited by faerie folk, wizards, sorceresses, and heroes. Select mortals could go there for a time to seek a healing or to dwell after death. At the Avalon Foundation, we stand on the shore, peer through the myst, and glimpse that mysterious realm. The quest is to open minds by bridging the gap between science and spirituality. |
