Nick Reiter currently holds the position of scientist at a solar photovoltaic research facility in Toledo, Ohio. His professional background for over twenty years has been in the disciplines of material science, engineering, chemistry, solar energy, and electronics. His name appears on two US patents and several publications in the Solar PV field.

Over the years, Nick has had the opportunity to work with many well known investigators and authors in the paranormal, UFO and New Science arena, including Budd Hopkins, author of Intruders, Missing Time, and Witnessed; David M. Jacobs, Ph.D., author of Secret Life, and Linda Moulton Howe, Emmy award winning documentary film producer and author of numerous books including Alien Harvest.

Nick continues to develop original techniques and instruments that are currently being tested in the field for their effectiveness in providing solid, physics based understanding of anomalous experiences and phenomena. You will find Nick's innovative techniques mentioned in the "Fortean Times", "New Energy News", "Journal of Borderland Research", "UFO Forum", "The Bulletin of Anomalous Experiences", and "Nexus" magazines. He has also been featured in Glimpses of Other Realties (Volume II) by Linda Moulton Howe and Electric UFOs: Fireballs, Electromagnetics and Abnormal States by Albert Budden.

During the 1990s, Lori obtained certification in hypnosis and Reiki. She is a member of the American Society for Psychical Research and The Institute of Noetic Science. Her professional background is in office management and administrative services.

A brief history of Lori's anomalous events may be found chronicled in a book entitled Electric UFOs: Fireballs, Electromagnetics and Abnormal States by UK investigator Albert Budden, who studies bizarre consciousness effects as a possible result of electromagnetic sensitivity.

Due to her own personal experiences, she became a lifelong student of the paranormal. Her intuitive abilities, which have been mentioned in the Wall Street Journal and elsewhere, have well equipped her to work with police and fire officials on several occasions. She also has used her abilities in the field to perceive unexplained and subtle energy patterns, and to aid those who wish to utilize hypnosis to facilitate a better understanding of their experiences.

In 2003, Lori stepped down from an active role in most Avalon field activities to pursue other career and personal interests. She remains in an advisory capacity, and offers valuable consultation and assistance in some investigative cases.
